Ever since the collet chuck technology has broken through due to the introduction of CENTRO|P, FAHRION takes into account the most complicated HPC applications, e.g. in a field of trochoidal milling or in case of the hard-to-mill materials. Simple but efficient clamping elements are in this case absolutely necessary.

As witnessed by many users, the heavy-duty milling or rough grinding is the most critical stage of the HPC process. The pull-out of the milling tool is usually the case during the rough machining of the components ? often followed by expensive consequences.

The new FAHRION ER Wedge Collet CENTRO|P.WD naturally nips this problem in the bud and ensures the pull-out protection that could earlier be provided either at higher expenses or by reducing the accuracy, by damping or using the retention force. The FAHRION CENTRO|P.WD based on the DIN ISO 15488-B standard is specifically designed for the use in the FAHRION precision collet chuck CENTRO|P and is suitable for the use of all the standard tools with a Weldon shank.
